The Difference between 1300 numbers and 1800 numbers

1300 numbers (often known as Local Call numbers)

Calls to a 1300 number from a local landline caller are FREE for the First 20 minutes.

The caller: only pays a normal local call fee from any fixed line phone anywhere in Australia.
If the caller is using a mobile phone, they will pay a rate that is determined by their mobile service provider.

Account Holder: the First 20 minutes are FREE for calls originating from a local fixed line phone and terminating on your fixed landline. After the FREE First 20 minutes, our low call rates apply.

1800 numbers (also known as Toll Free/Free Call numbers)

The caller: FREE from any fixed line phone anywhere in Australia.
If the caller is using a mobile phone, they will pay a rate that is determined by their mobile service provider.
